O believers, devour not usury, doubled and redoubled, and fear you God; haply so you will prosper. 130 And beware of the Fire gotten ready for the infidels. 131 And obey Allah and the apostle, haply ye may be shewn mercy. 132 ۞ Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious 133 Who expend both in joy and tribulation, who suppress their anger and pardon their fellowmen; and God loves those who are upright and do good, 134 And those who when they commit an indecency or do injustice to their souls remember Allah and ask forgiveness for their faults-- and who forgives the faults but Allah, and (who) do not knowingly persist in what they have done. 135 They shall be recompensed by forgiveness from their Lord and by gardens beneath which rivers flow; there they shall abide. How good is the reward of those who labour! 136 Systems have passed away before you. Do but travel in the land and see the nature of the consequence for those who did deny (the messengers). 137 This (Quran) is a reminder for the people and a guide and advice for the pious. 138 Be not, then, faint of heart, and grieve not: for you are bound to rise high if you are [truly] believers. 139 if you have suffered a wound, they too have suffered a similar wound. We bring these days to men by turns, so that God may know those who believe, and choose witnesses from among you; and God does not love the unjust, 140 test the faith of the believers, and deprive the unbelievers of (His) blessings. 141 Or deemed ye that ye would enter paradise while yet Allah knoweth not those of you who really strive, nor knoweth those (of you) who are steadfast? 142 Ye did indeed wish for death before ye met him: Now ye have seen him with your own eyes, (And ye flinch!) 143
