Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24
Indeed We sent Nooh to his people – he therefore said, “O my people! Worship Allah – you do not have any God except Him; indeed I fear for you the punishment of the Great Day (of Resurrection).” 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 Said [Noah], "O my people! I am not in error. Indeed, I am a messenger from the Lord of the Worlds, 61 sent to preach to you the message of my Lord and to give you good advice. I know what you do not know about God. 62 "Do you wonder that there has come to you a Reminder from your Lord through a man from amongst you, that he may warn you, so that you may fear Allah and that you may receive (His) Mercy?" 63 Then they belied him; thereupon We delivered him and those with him in the ark, and drowned those who belied Our signs; verily they were a people blind. 64
