Moses said: "Lord! Open my breast for me; 25 And ease for me my task 26 Loosen the knot in my tongue, 27 "So they may understand what I say: 28 Appoint for me a henchman from my folk, 29 Aaron, my brother. 30 By him confirm my strength 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that [together] we might abundantly extol Thy limitless glory 33 "And remember Thee without stint: 34 Surely You know us well." 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 "And indeed We conferred a favour on you another time (before). 37 "Behold! We sent to thy mother, by inspiration, the message: 38 Saying! cast him in the ark, and cast him into the river, and the river will throw him on the bank, and then an enemy of Mine and an enemy of his will take him up. And I cast on thee love from Me in order that thou mayest be formed under Mine eye. 39 [And We favored you] when your sister went and said, 'Shall I direct you to someone who will be responsible for him?' So We restored you to your mother that she might be content and not grieve. And you killed someone, but We saved you from retaliation and tried you with a [severe] trial. And you remained [some] years among the people of Madyan. Then you came [here] at the decreed time, O Moses. 40 And I have chosen you for Myself: 41 Go you and your brother with My communications and be not remiss in remembering Me; 42 “Both of you go to Firaun; he has indeed rebelled.” 43 and speak to him gently, perhaps he may take heed or fear (Allah)." 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 Answered He: "Fear not! Verily, I shall be with you two, hearing and seeing [all]. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 It is revealed to us that a punishment will fall on those who belie and turn away." 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 He said, “Our Lord is One Who gave everything its proper shape, then showed the path.” 50 Pharaoh said, 'And what of the former generations?' 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who made the earth for you an expanse and made for you therein paths and sent down water from the cloud; then thereby We have brought forth many species of various herbs. 53 Eat [therefrom] and pasture your livestock. Indeed, in that are signs for those of intelligence. 54
