1/2 Hizb 35
< random >
O ye messengers! enjoy (all) things good and pure, and work righteousness: for I am well-acquainted with (all) that ye do. 51 And surely this your religion is one religion and I am your Lord, therefore be careful (of your duty) to Me. 52 But they (men) have broken their religion among them into sects, each group rejoicing in its belief. 53 (Muhammad), leave them alone in their dark ignorance for an appointed time. 54 Deem they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We enlarge them. 55 We hasten unto them with good things? Nay, but they perceive not. 56 Only those who are, out of fear of Him, humble before their Lord, 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 And those who give what they give (in alms) while their hearts are full of fear that to their Lord they must return, 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear: before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth: they will never be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 So that when We seize the affluent among them with affliction, they will begin to implore for help. 64 Supplicate not this day! Assuredly ye will not be helped by Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Have they not pondered over the Word (of Allah, i.e. what is sent down to the Prophet SAW), or has there come to them what had not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or do they not recognize their Messenger, and so deny him? 69 Or they say, “He is afflicted by a demon”; in fact he brought the Truth to them, and most of them dislike the Truth. 70 But if the truth were in accord with their own likes and dislikes, the heavens and the earth would surely have fallen into ruin, and all that lives in them [would long ago have perished]! Nay, [in this divine writ] We have conveyed unto them all that they ought to bear in mind: and from this their reminder they [heedlessly] turn away! 71 Or is it that you ask them a recompense? But the recompense of your Lord is best, and He is the best of those who provide sustenance. 72 And indeed, you invite them to a straight path. 73 but, behold, those who will not believe in the life to come are bound to deviate from that way. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 Until, when We open for them the gate of extreme punishment, behold! they are aghast thereat. 77

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
