Say, [O Muhammad], "Invoke those you claim [as deities] besides Allah." They do not possess an atom's weight [of ability] in the heavens or on the earth, and they do not have therein any partnership [with Him], nor is there for Him from among them any assistant. 22 No intercession avails with Him except his He allows, so that when their hearts are freed of fear, they ask (one another): "What did your Lord say?" They will answer: "What is expedient. He is the all-mighty and supreme." 23 ۞ Say: "Who is it that provides for you sustenance out of the heavens and the earth?" Say: "It is God. And behold, either we [who believe in Him] or you [who deny His oneness] are on the right path, or have clearly gone astray!" 24 Say, "You will not be asked about what we committed, and we will not be asked about what you do." 25 Say: “Our Lord will bring us together and then He will rightly judge between us. He is the Great Judge, the All-Knowing.” 26 Say thou: show me those whom ye have joined with Him as associates. By no means! Aye! He is Allah, the Mighty, the Wise. 27 And We have not sent you but to all the men as a bearer of good news and as a warner, but most men do not know. 28 And they say: When will this promise be (fulfilled) if you are truthful? 29 Proclaim “For you is the promise of a Day which you cannot postpone by one moment nor can you advance it.” 30
