Al-Mu' minoon 6 of 6
SAY: "O my Sustainer! If it be Thy will to let me witness [the fulfillment of] whatever they [who blaspheme against Thee] have been promised [to suffer] 93 do not, O my Sustainer, let me be one of those evildoing folk!" 94 Indeed, We are able to show you that which We promised them. 95 Repel evil with what is best, We are well aware of the things they say, 96 And submit, “My Lord! I seek Your refuge from the instigation of the devils.” 97 and I take refuge in Thee, O my Lord, lest they attend me.' 98 [AS FOR THOSE who will not believe in the life to come, they go on lying to themselves] until, when death approaches any of them, he prays: "O my Sustainer! Let me return, let me return [to life,] 99 that I have left behind. I am likely to do good." Nay, it is merely a word that he is uttering. There is a barrier behind all of them (who are dead) until the Day when they will be raised up. 100 And when the trumpet is blown there will be no kinship among them that day, nor will they ask of one another. 101 Then as for him whose good deeds are preponderant, these are the successful. 102 But those whose scales weigh light will have ruined their souls; in Hell will they abide. 103 The fire will scorch their faces and they will be groaning therein in pain. 104 [It will be said]. "Were not My verses recited to you and you used to deny them?" 105 They will exclaim: "O our Sustainer! Our bad luck has overwhelmed us, and so we went astray! 106 Get us out of this, O Lord. If we transgress we will surely be sinful." 107 He will say: 'Slink there in it and do not speak to Me' 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 “So you took them for a mockery until your mocking at them made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them!” 110 Verily I have recompensed them today, for they bore patiently, verily they are the achievers. 111 [And] He will ask [the doomed]: "What number of years have you spent on earth?" 112 They will say: we tarried a day or part of a day; ask those who keep count. 113 He will say: You did tarry but a little-- had you but known (it): 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So exalted is Allah, the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And (O Muhammad) say: My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for Thou art Best of all who show mercy. 118
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
