Say: "O Lord, if I am made to see what has been promised them, 93 Then do not, O Lord, put me among the sinners." 94 Assuredly, We are able to show thee that We promise them. 95 Repel, by [means of] what is best, [their] evil. We are most knowing of what they describe. 96 Say, "Lord, I seek your protection against the strong temptations of the devils. 97 "And I seek refuge with Thee O my Lord! lest they should come near me." 98 Until, when death comes to one of them (those who join partners with Allah), he says: "My Lord! Send me back, 99 Haply I may do good in that which I have left. By no means! it is a (mere) word that he speaks; and before them is a barrier until the day they are raised. 100 So when the Horn is blown, no relationship will there be among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another. 101 Then he whose scales are heavy -- they are the prosperers, 102 And the ones whose scales prove light it is they who put their lives into ruin, remaining in hell forever. 103 The Fire will scorch their faces, and therein they shall be grinning. 104 "Are you not those to whom My revelations were recited, and you dubbed them as lies?" 105 They will say: "Our Lord! Our misfortune prevailed over us. We were indeed an erring people. 106 “Our Lord, remove us from hell then if we do the same, we are the unjust.” 107 He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!" 108 "Behold, there were among My servants such as would pray, 'O our Sustainer! We have come to believe [in Thee]; forgive, then, our sins and bestow Thy mercy on us: for Thou art the truest bestower of mercy!' 109 Then ye took them mockingly, so that they caused you to forget remembrance of Me, and at them ye were wont to laugh. 110 I have rewarded them this Day for their steadfastness, and it is they who have triumphed." 111 He will say: how long tarried ye on the earth in number of year? 112 They will say: We tarried a day or part of a day, but ask those who keep account. 113 He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. 114 Did you think that We had created you for a playful purpose and that you were not to return to Us?" 115 So Exalted be Allah, the True King, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the Lord of the Supreme Throne! 116 Whoever worships another god apart from God, for which he holds no proof, will have to account for it before his Lord. Verily the unbelievers will not prosper. 117 And say: 'My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for Thou art the best of the merciful.' 118
God the Almighty always says the truth.
