Y S (Yaa Seen)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 you (Prophet Muhammad) are truly among the Messengers sent 3 On the Straight Path. 4 by [virtue of] what is being bestowed from on high by the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 5 In order that you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, so they are heedless. 6 Already hath the judgment, (for their infidelity) proved true of most of them, for they believe not. 7 We have bound their necks with fetters up to their chin, so that their heads are raised and cannot be lowered. 8 And We have put a bar in front of them and a bar behind them, and further, We have covered them up; so that they cannot see. 9 The same is it to them whether thou admonish them or thou do not admonish them: they will not believe. 10 You can warn only those who would follow the Reminder and fear the Gracious God, unseen. Give them the good news of forgiveness and a noble reward. 11 We will surely bring the dead to life and We record what they send ahead and the signs they will leave behind; and We have accounted all things in a clear Book. 12
