The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 These are verses of the clear Book. 2 It may be that you (O Muhammad SAW) are going to kill yourself with grief, that they do not become believers [in your Risalah (Messengership) and in your Message of Islamic Monotheism]. 3 We could send down from the heavens a sign to them if We pleased, before which their heads would remain bowed. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 They have indeed rejected (the Message): so they will know soon (enough) the truth of what they mocked at! 6 Have they not seen the earth in which We have made gracious plants grow? 7 Verily, in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 8 And verily, thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 9
