The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (all things) proportionately, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then made it dry dark, flaky stubble, 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 save what God may will [thee to forget] - for, verily, He [alone] knows all that is open to [man's] perception as well as all that is hidden [from it] 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 but the wretched will turn away from it. 11 Who will enter the great Fire and made to taste its burning, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 He who purifies himself, 14 and mentions the Name of his Lord, and prays. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
