Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Ya'. Sin. 1 By the wise Qur'an, 2 Thou art indeed one of the messengers, 3 upon a Straight Path. 4 with a revelation sent down by the Mighty One, the Merciful, 5 So that you may warn these people whose ancestors were not warned, they are therefore unaware. 6 Undoubtedly, it (their disbelief) has proved true for most of them, so they will not believe. 7 We have put yokes round their necks right up to their chins, so that they cannot bow their heads 8 and We have put before them a barrier and behind them a barrier; and We have covered them, so they do not see. 9 It is the same to them whether you warn them or you warn them not, they will not believe. 10 Thou canst [truly] warn only him who is willing to take the reminder to heart, and who stands in awe of the Most Gracious although He is beyond the reach of human perception: unto such, then, give the glad tiding of [God's] forgiveness and of a most excellent reward! 11 Verily We shall give life to the dead, and We record that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book (of evidence). 12
