Say: 'I am only a warner. There is not any god but God, the One, the Omnipotent, 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Exalted in Might, the Perpetual Forgiver." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the higher Assembly when they discussed it among themselves. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 He said: O Iblis! What hindereth thee from falling prostrate before that which I have created with both My hands? Art thou too proud or art thou of the high exalted? 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "My Lord! Give me then respite till the Day the (dead) are resurrected." 79 Allah said: verily, thou art of those respited. 80 for an appointed time". 81 He (satan) said: 'I swear by Your Might, that I will seduce all of them 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 God said, "This is the truth, I speak only the truth, 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 This is only a warning for mankind. 87 and you shall surely know its tiding after a while.' 88
