And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 And We succoured them so that they became overcomers. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 121 Surely they were both of Our believing servants. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you call on Ba'lan (the idol Baal) and abandon the Best Creator, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 Except the sincere and devoted Servants of Allah (among them). 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We totally destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their habitations) in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
