Say: 'I am only a warner. There is no god except Allah, the One, the Conqueror, 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is in between them, the Most Mighty, the Most Forgiving.” 66 Say: "That is a Message Supreme (above all),- 67 yet you ignore it. 68 (Tell them): “I had no knowledge of the High Council when they were disputing. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have made him and have breathed into him of My spirit. Fall down in homage before him." 72 Then the angels bowed before him in a body, 73 save Iblis: he gloried in his arrogance, and [thus] became one of those who deny the truth. 74 The Lord said: “O Iblis, what prevented you from prostrating yourself before him whom I created of My Two Hands. Are you waxing proud, or fancy yourself to be too exalted?” 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 My curse will remain upon you till the Day of Judgement!" 78 He said: My Lord! then respite me to the day that they are raised. 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time well-known." 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 (O Prophet), tell them: “I do not ask you for any recompense for the performance of this task; nor am I given to affectation. 86 Lo! it is naught else than a reminder for all peoples 87 And you will surely know [the truth of] its information after a time." 88
