But nay, I swear by all that you can see 38 and by what you do not see, 39 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is the word of a noble Messenger. 40 it is not the word of a poet -- how little you believe! -- 41 Nor is it the word of a soothsayer. Little is it that you reflect! 42 Sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 43 And if he had fabricated against Us some of the sayings, 44 We surely should have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath). 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We know very well that there are some among you who reject Our signs -- 49 it will be a source of bitter regret for those who deny the truth -- 50 Certainly it is a Truth of absolute certainty. 51 So glorify the name of your Lord, the Almighty. 52
