Consultation (Al-Shooraa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
Ha. Mim. 1 'AeenSeenQaaf 2 So has God, all-mighty and all-wise, been revealing to you and to others before you. 3 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, belongs to Him. He is all-high and supreme. 4 Well-nigh the heavens might be rent in sunder from above them. And the angels hallow the praise of their lord and ask forgiveness for these on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah! He is the Forgiver, the Merciful! 5 Those who have taken protectors other than Him, are watched over by God. It is not for you to be their guardian. 6 And so We have revealed to thee an Arabic Koran, that thou mayest warn the Mother of Cities and those who dwell about it, and that thou mayest warn of the Day of Gathering, wherein is no doubt -- a party in Paradise, and a party in the Blaze. 7 And had Allah willed, He would have made them one community; but He causeth whomsoever He will to enter into His mercy. And the wrong doers! for them there shall be no patron or helper. 8 Or have they taken protectors [or allies] besides him? But Allah - He is the Protector, and He gives life to the dead, and He is over all things competent. 9
