▼ 56 The Inevitable
Al-Waaqe'ah 3 of 3
۞ But nay! I swear by the falling of stars; 75 And most surely it is a very great oath if you only knew; 76 That (this) is indeed an honourable recital (the Noble Quran). 77 preserved in a hidden Book which 78 which none can touch except the purified. 79 a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 80 Then why do you dissimulate this Revelation? 81 Would you reject the sustenance that you receive rather than give thanks? 82 Then why do you not (intervene) when (the soul of a dying person) reaches the throat? 83 and you are [at that moment] looking on [helplessly] -- 84 We are closer to him than you, but you cannot see. 85 So why is it not, that if you are not to be repaid, – 86 why are you then not able to bring them back to life if you are truthful? 87 So if he is one of those who are near-stationed (to Allah), 88 happiness [awaits him in the life to come,] and inner fulfillment, and a garden of bliss. 89 If he is a Companion of the Right 90 it will be with the people of the right hand, living in peace and security. 91 But if he is one of those who rejected [the truth] and went astray, 92 there shall be a hospitality of boiling water, 93 And burning in Hell-fire. 94 Verily, this! This is an absolute Truth with certainty. 95 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 96
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
