Surely, We have sent down to you the Book with the truth, so that you will rule between the people by that Allah has shown you. So do not be an advocate for the traitors. 105 and seek forgiveness from Allah. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, All-Compassionate. 106 And do not plead on behalf of those who act unfaithfully to their souls; surely Allah does not love him who is treacherous, sinful; 107 They seek to hide from men and seek not to hide from Allah. He is with them when by night they hold discourse displeasing unto Him. Allah ever surroundeth what they do. 108 Pay heed! It is you people who argued on their behalf in the life of this world; so who will fight on their behalf with Allah on the Day of Resurrection, or who will be their pleader? 109 And whoever does evil or acts unjustly to his soul, then asks forgiveness of Allah, he shall find Allah Forgiving, Merciful. 110 And whoever commits a sin only earns it against himself. And Allah is ever Knowing and Wise. 111 He who commits a mistake or iniquity and ascribes it to one who is innocent, is guilty of calumny and brazen sin. 112
