It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 and We have made them secure against every satanic force accursed 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are its treasuries, and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
