Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven is split asunder, 1 And when the stars fall, scattering, 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 And when the [contents of] graves are scattered, 4 (Then) a person will know what he has sent forward and (what he has) left behind (of good or bad deeds). 5 O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- 6 who created you, formed you and proportioned you? 7 Into whatever form He pleased He constituted you. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Surely, there are guardians watching over you, 10 Kind and honourable,- Writing down (your deeds): 11 who know what you do. 12 Most surely the righteous are in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 which they will enter on the Day of Judgment 15 and then shall never come out of it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will explain to thee what the Day of Judgment is? 18 It will be a Day when no human being shall be of the least avail to any other human being, God [alone] will hold command on that Day. 19
