Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ WHEN THE SKY is split asunder, 1 when the stars are scattered, 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 every soul will see the result of its deeds - those recorded before his death and those which will produce either virtue or evil after his death. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Who created thee, then fashioned, then proportioned thee? 7 having put thee together in whatever form He willed [thee to have]? 8 Nay, but ye deny the Judgment. 9 And indeed there are some guardians over you. 10 watching over you 11 who know all that you do: 12 The virtuous ones will live in bliss 13 And the Wicked - they will be in the Fire, 14 which they shall enter on the Day of Judgement, 15 And thence they shall not be allowed to be absent. 16 And what do you know – of what sort is the Day of Justice! 17 Again, what will make you know what the Day of Recompense is? 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
