۞ (Muhammad), glorify the Name of your lord, the Most High, 1 Who has created (everything), and then proportioned it; 2 Who determines and directs, 3 Who bringeth forth the pasturage, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We shall make easy unto thee the easy way. 8 Therefore advise, if advising is beneficial. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the most wicked will stay away from it. 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 where he will neither die nor live. 13 Lasting happiness will be for those who purify themselves, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 But no, you prefer the life of the world, 16 although the life to come is better and more enduring. 17 Indeed this is in the former scriptures. 18 The Books of Abraham and Moses. 19
