And assuredly We gave grace unto Musa and Harun. 114 and We saved them and their people from the awesome calamity [of bondage,] 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Manifesting Book, 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 And We left for them [favorable mention] among later generations: 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Surely both of them were among Our believing servants. 122 And Ilyas was most surely of the apostles. 123 Behold, he said to his people, "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 But not the servants of Allah, the purified ones. 128 And We perpetuated to him (praise) among the later generations. 129 Peace be on Elias. 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 He was one of Our believing servants. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 [and so,] when [We decreed the doom of his sinful town,] We saved him and his household, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We annihilated the others. 136 You pass by their ruins morning 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
