The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

I swear by the runners breathing pantingly, 1 And strike sparks of fire, 2 And scouring to the raid at dawn 3 And therein raising dust. 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Verily man is unto his Lord ungrateful. 6 He himself knows this very well. 7 Surely, he is ardent in his love of wealth. 8 ۞ Knoweth he not that, when the contents of the graves are poured forth 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 Verily, that Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection) their Lord will be Well-Acquainted with them (as to their deeds), (and will reward them for their deeds). 11
