Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Rivalry in worldly increase distracteth you 1 Until you visit the graveyards. 2 No indeed; but soon you shall know. 3 Then no! You are going to know. 4 No indeed; did you know with the knowledge of certainty, 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then on that Day you shall be questioned about your worldly favours. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
