Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

YOU ARE OBSESSED by greed for more and more 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 You shall know. 3 Again, no indeed; but soon you shall know. 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will be shown hell 6 and you will see it with your own eyes. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
