The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every backbiter, slanderer 1 [Woe unto him who amasses wealth and counts it a safeguard, 2 Thinking that his wealth would make him last for ever! 3 Nay! Verily, he will be thrown into the crushing Fire. 4 And what can make you know what is the Crusher? 5 It is the fire kindled by God 6 The which doth mount (Right) to the Hearts: 7 Lo! it is closed in on them 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
