Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Say: I seek refuge in the Lord of the dawn, 1 against the evil of whatever He has created. 2 And the evil of evening darkness when it overspreads, 3 from the evil of the women who blow on knots; 4 And from the evil of an envier when he envies." 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
