O dear Prophet, did you not see your Lord, how He spread the shade? And if He willed, He could have made it still; then We made the sun a proof upon it. 45 thereafter We seize it to Ourselves, drawing it gently. 46 It is He who made the night a mantle for you, and sleep for repose; and made the day a time for rising. 47 It is He who sends the winds with auspicious news in advance of His benevolence; and We send pure water down from the sky 48 so that We may bring life to a dead land; and slake the thirst of Our creation; cattle and men, in great numbers. 49 We have indeed turned it about them, so that they remember; yet most people refuse all except disbelief. 50 Had it been Our will, We could have raised a warner in every village. 51 So do not obey the disbelievers, and strive against them with the Qur'an a great striving. 52 ۞ It is He Who has let free the two bodies of flowing water: One palatable and sweet, and the other salt and bitter; yet has He made a barrier between them, a partition that is forbidden to be passed. 53 It is He who has created the human being from water to have relationships of both lineage and wedlock. Your Lord has all power. 54 Yet they worship, instead of Allah, those who can neither benefit them nor harm them: more than this, the disbeliever has become a helper of every rebel against his Lord. 55 We have sent you only as a bearer of glad tidings and as a warner. 56 Proclaim, “I do not ask any fee from you for this, except that whoever wills may take the way to his Lord.” 57 And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt [Allah] with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted - 58 It is He who created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in six days and then He established His domination over the Throne. He is the Beneficent God. Refer to Him as the final authority. 59 Yet when they [who are bent on denying the truth are told, "Prostrate yourselves before the Most Gracious" they are wont to ask, "And [who and] what is the Most Gracious? Are we to prostrate ourselves before whatever thou biddest us [to worship]?" - and so [thy call] but increases their aversion, ۩ 60
