1/2 Hizb 45

۞ Muster those who did evil, their wives, and that they were serving, 22 "Instead of Allah, and lead them on to the way of flaming Fire (Hell); 23 And halt them, to be questioned: 24 “What is the matter with you, that you do not help one another?” 25 Nay! on that day they shall be submissive. 26 They will turn to each other saying, 27 Saying: "It were you who imposed yourselves upon us." 28 They shall say: Nay, you (yourselves) were not believers; 29 And we had no authority over you, but you were an inordinate people; 30 “So the Word of our Lord has proved true upon us; we will surely have to taste (the punishment).” 31 we perverted you, indeed, we were perverts' 32 Then verily, that Day, they will (all) share in the torment. 33 This is how We deal with the guilty. 34 For when it was said to them: 'There is no god except Allah' they were always proud 35 and said: “Shall we forsake our deities for the sake of a distracted poet?” 36 Nay! he (Muhammad SAW) has come with the truth (i.e. Allah's Religion - Islamic Monotheism and this Quran) and he confirms the Messengers (before him who brought Allah's religion - Islamic Monotheism). 37 Indeed, you [disbelievers] will be tasters of the painful punishment, 38 and be rewarded only according to your deeds." 39 But not the chosen servants of Allah. 40 Those! theirs shall be a provision known: 41 Fruits; and they shall be honoured, 42 In Gardens of Delight. 43 Facing one another on thrones, 44 a goblet from a spring shall be passed round to them 45 white, a delight to the drinkers, 46 Free from headiness; nor will they suffer intoxication therefrom. 47 With them will be spouses, modest of gaze and beautiful of eye, 48 so delicate as the hidden peel under an egg's shell. 49 So one among them turns to the other, questioning. 50 One of them will say: “I had a companion in the world 51 who was wont to ask [me,] 'Why - art thou really one of those who believe it to be true 52 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, shall we be recompensed?" 53 He said (to others on the thrones), “Will you take a glimpse (into hell) below?” 54 He looked down and saw (his friend) in the midst of Hell. 55 He will say to his friend in hell, "By God, you almost destroyed me. 56 "Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)." 57 What then, shall we not die 58 "Except our first death, and that we shall not be punished?" 59 Verily this is the supreme achievement! 60 For this the toilers should strive." 61 Is this better as an entertainment or the tree of Zaqqum? 62 Verily, We have caused it to be a trial for evildoers: 63 (Zaqqum) is a tree which grows from the deepest part of hell, 64 and its fruits are like devils' heads. 65 And indeed, they will eat from it and fill with it their bellies. 66 Then on the top of that they will be given boiling water to drink so that it becomes a mixture (of boiling water and Zaqqum in their bellies). 67 And once again: Verily, the blazing fire is their ultimate goal 68 They found their fathers in error, 69 yet they run in their footsteps, 70 And truly before them, many of the ancients went astray;- 71 though We had sent among them warners. 72 See how terrible was the end of those who were warned. 73 Other than the chosen creatures of God. 74

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
