To those who inherit the earth in succession to its (previous) possessors, is it not a guiding, (lesson) that, if We so willed, We could punish them (too) for their sins, and seal up their hearts so that they could not hear? 100 These towns-- We relate to you some of their stories, and certainly their apostles came to them with clear arguments, but they would not believe in what they rejected at first; thus does Allah set a seal over the hearts of the unbelievers 101 We did not find many of them faithful to their promises, and found many of them disobedient. 102 Then We sent after them Moses with Our signs to Pharaoh and his establishment, but they were unjust toward them. So see how was the end of the corrupters. 103 And Moses said: 'O Pharaoh! I am a Messenger from the Lord of the universe. 104 Approved upon condition that I speak concerning Allah nothing but the truth. I come unto you (lords of Egypt) with a clear proof from your Lord. So let the Children of Israel go with me. 105 The Pharaoh asked Moses to show his miracles if he was telling the truth. 106 So Moses threw his staff, and suddenly it was a serpent, manifest. 107 And he drew forth his hand, when lo: it was white unto the beholders. 108
