Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa) before The Afternoon (Al-'Asr)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

۞ (Muhammad), have We not comforted your heart, 1 and relieve you of the burden 2 Which weighed down thy back. 3 And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)? 4 So indeed with hardship is ease. 5 Certainly, after every difficulty there comes relief. 6 When you are free from (your obligations), strive hard (to worship God) 7 And to your Lord direct [your] longing. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
