Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And the One Who kept proper measure and then guided. 3 Who brings out the pastures 4 and then made it into a blackish straw. 5 [O Prophet!] We shall make you recite the Quran so that you will not forget any of it -- 6 except whatever God wills; He knows both what is manifest and what is hidden -- 7 And We shall create the means of ease for you. 8 Therefor remind (men), for of use is the reminder. 9 He who fears [Allah] will be reminded. 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 and suffer the heat of the great fire 12 In which they will then neither die nor live. 13 He indeed hath attained bliss who hath cleansed himself, 14 And magnifies the name of his Lord and prays. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 The scriptures of Ibrahim and Musa. 19
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
