See you not that We have sent the Shayatin (devils) against the disbelievers to push them to do evil. 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 They will have no power of intercession, save him who hath made a covenant with his Lord. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Certainly you have made an abominable assertion 89 The heavens may almost be rent thereat, and the earth cleave asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 Not one of all [the beings] that are in the heavens or on earth appears before the Most Gracious other than as a servant: 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 On the Day of Resurrection each one of these will come to Him singly. 95 Those who believe and do righteous deeds, the Merciful will assign for them love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations We have destroyed before them! Can you find a single one of them alive now, or hear so much as a whisper from them? 98
