۞ And We inspired Musa (Moses), saying: "Take away My slaves by night, verily, you will be pursued." 52 Then the Pharaoh sent announcers to the cities, 53 'These' they said, 'are a small band, 54 they have enraged us, 55 “And indeed we are an alert army.” 56 So We turned them out of gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Even so. And We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit them. 59 And they overtook them at sunrise. 60 and as soon as the two hosts came in sight of one another, the followers of Moses exclaimed: "Behold, we shall certainly be overtaken [and defeated]!" 61 Moses said: "Certainly not. My Lord is with me; He will direct me." 62 Then We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying): "Strike the sea with your stick." And it parted, and each separate part (of that sea water) became like the huge, firm mass of a mountain. 63 And there We brought the others on, 64 And We delivered Musa and those with him together. 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Lo! herein is indeed a portent, yet most of them are not believers. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
