The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall made to pass away; 3 when the ten-months pregnant camels shall be abandoned, 4 the wild beasts are herded together, 5 And when the seas shall become as blazing Fire or shall overflow; 6 souls are reunited with their bodies, 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 for what offence was she killed? 9 the records of deeds are made public, 10 And when the sky is stripped away 11 And when hell is further enflamed. 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 Every soul will then come know what it has brought. 14 No indeed; I swear by the alternating stars 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 by the night swarming, 17 and brightening morning, 18 [That] indeed, the Qur'an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger 19 The mighty, the honoured in the presence of the Lord of the Throne. 20 obeyed, and honest. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 And indeed he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) saw him [Jibrael (Gabriel)] in the clear horizon (towards the east). 23 And he (Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) withholds not a knowledge of the unseen. 24 The Quran is not the word of condemned satan. 25 So where are you going? 26 It is not except a reminder to the worlds 27 For those of you who desire to walk the path that is straight, 28 And ye shall not will unless it be that Allah, the Lord of the worlds, willeth. 29
