Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We have indeed sent down the Qur’an in the Night of Destiny. 1 And what could make thee conceive what it is, that Night of Destiny? 2 The grand night is better than a thousand months. 3 in hosts descend in it the angels, bearing divine inspiration by their Sustainer's leave; from all [evil] that may happen 4 It is peace until the rising of dawn. 5
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
