The day the enemies of God will be gathered at the Fire and the records of their deeds will be distributed, 19 Until when they come to it, their ears and their sights and their skins will bear witness against them of that which they had been working. 20 'Why did you bear witness against us' they will ask their skins, and they will reply: 'Allah has given us speech, as He has given speech to everything. It was He who created you the first time, and to Him you shall return. 21 You did not hide your (doings) so that your ears or eyes or persons should not testify against you. In fact you thought that God did not know the things you used to do. 22 and that very thought which you thought about your Sustainer has brought you to perdition, and so now you find yourselves among the lost!" 23 Even if they are patient, the Fire will still be their homes. And if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so. 24 ۞ We had assigned to them companions who embellished for them all that was before them and behind them. Thus the same decree (of chastisement) which had overtaken the previous generations of jinn and human beings (also) became due against them. Surely they became the losers. 25
