But nay! I swear by all that ye see 38 and all that you do not see, 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And not the word of a poet. How little is it that you believe! 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It has been sent down by the Lord of all the worlds. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-vein. 46 not one of you could have prevented it from him. 47 It is really a reminder for those who fear God and follow the straight path. 48 We certainly know that some among you will give the lie to it, 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 But verily it is Truth of assured certainty. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52
