The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 “Seize him and drag him to the middle of the Blazing Fire, 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of boiling water, 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Indeed, the righteous will be in a secure place; 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 Wearing [garments of] fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 So it is; and We have wedded them to maidens with gorgeous eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They shall not taste therein of death, save the first death, And He shall guard them against the chastisement of Hell -- 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Wait then; they too are waiting. 59
