The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 1

Praise belongs to God, the Lord of all Being, 2 The Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek. 5 Guide us to the straight path: 6 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray. 7

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
