The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
THE STARTLING CALAMITY. 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 On that Day human beings shall be like scattered moths, 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 will live a pleasant life, 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 His refuge will be an abyss. 9 Ah, what will convey unto thee what she is! - 10 A flaming fire! 11
God the Almighty always says the truth.
