And indeed Nuh (Noah) invoked Us, and We are the Best of those who answer (the request). 75 We delivered him and his household from the great calamity; 76 And We preserved his descendants. 77 and We left him thus to be remembered among later generations: 78 Peace be with Noah among all men in the worlds. 79 This is how We reward the virtuous. 80 for he was truly one of our believing servants: 81 Then We drowned the disbelievers. 82 ۞ And, verily, among those who followed his [Nuh's (Noah)] way (Islamic Monotheism) was Ibrahim (Abraham). 83 When he came to his Lord with a pure heart [attached to Allah Alone and none else, worshipping none but Allah Alone true Islamic Monotheism, pure from the filth of polytheism]. 84 When he said unto his father and his folk: What is it that ye worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What, then, do you think of the Sustainer of all the worlds?" 87 Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped), 88 and said, "I am sick!" 89 And they turned their backs on him and went away. (The pagans thought he would transmit the disease). 90 Then he turned aside to their gods secretly and said: What! do you not eat? 91 What ails you, that you speak not?' 92 And he turned upon them striking them with the right hand. 93 Then they (the worshippers of idols) came, towards him, hastening. 94 Abraham said to them: “Do you worship what you yourselves have carved with your own hands 95 “Whereas Allah has created you and your actions?” 96 They spoke among themselves: “Build him a pyre and then throw him into the furnace.” 97 They had contrived an evil plan against him, but We abased them all. 98 And he said: verily I am going to my Lord who will guide me. 99 Abraham prayed, "Lord, grant me a righteous son". 100 And We gave him the glad tidings of a very gentle son (Ishmael). 101 Then, when (the son) reached (the age of) (serious) work with him, he said: "O my son! I see in vision that I offer thee in sacrifice: Now see what is thy view!" (The son) said: "O my father! Do as thou art commanded: thou will find me, if Allah so wills one practising Patience and Constancy!" 102 So when they both submitted and he threw him down upon his forehead, 103 We called out: "O Abraham, 104 You have fulfilled your dream." Thus do We reward the good. 105 that surely was a manifest trial, 106 So, We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 and We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 108 Peace be on Ibrahim. 109 Thus, do We reward the righteous ones. 110 Surely he was one of Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac, a Prophet and among the righteous ones. 112 And We blessed him and Isaac. And of their seed are some who do good, and some who plainly wrong themselves. 113
