The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ Magnify the Name of thy Lord the Most High 1 Who creates and proportions, 2 Who determined and guided them, 3 And Who bringeth out the (green and luscious) pasture, 4 Then turneth it to russet stubble. 5 We shall make you recite so that you will not forget, 6 unless God wills it to be otherwise. He knows all that is made public and all that remains hidden. 7 And We will ease you toward ease. 8 So remind them if reminder is profitable: 9 and he who fears shall remember, 10 but aloof from it will remain that most hapless wretch 11 Who will enter the Great Fire, 12 then he shall neither die therein, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who has cleansed himself, 14 remember the name of the Lord, and pray to Him. 15 But you prefer the life of this world, 16 Although the Hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Most surely this is in the earlier scriptures, 18 The scriptures of Abraham and Moses. 19
