SAY: "Call upon those [beings] whom you imagine [to be endowed with divine powers] beside God: they have not an atom's weight of power either in the heavens or on earth, nor have they any share in [governing] either, nor does He [choose to] have any helper from among them." 22 No intercession can avail with Allah except for him whom Allah permits (to intercede). When their hearts are relieved of fright they will ask the intercessors: “What did your Lord say?” They will reply: “(He said) what is right, and He is the High, the Great.” 23 ۞ Say, "Who provides for you from the heavens and the earth?" Say, "Allah. And indeed, we or you are either upon guidance or in clear error." 24 Say: You will not be questioned as to what we are guilty of, nor shall we be questioned as to what you do. 25 Say thou: our Lord shall assemble us together, then He shall judge between us with truth; and He is the Great Judge, the Knower. 26 Say: 'Show me those you have joined to Him as associates. No indeed; rather He is God, the All-mighty, the All-wise.' 27 We did not send you (Prophet Muhammad) for all mankind except to bring them glad tidings and to warn, but most people do not know. 28 They say, "When will the Day of Judgment be if what you say is true?" 29 Say: 'You are promised a Day. You can neither hold it back, nor can you hasten it by a single hour' 30
