The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
By the Glorious Morning Light, 1 and by the calm of night, 2 (Muhammad), your Lord has not abandoned you (by not sending you His revelation), nor is He displeased with you. 3 And the Hereafter is better for you than the first [life]. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and take care of you? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And He found thee destitute, so He enriched thee. 8 So as for the orphan, do not oppress [him]. 9 And repulse not the beggar; 10 And as to the favour of thine Lord, discourse thou thereof. 11
Almighty Allah's Truth.
End of Surah: The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa). Sent down in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
