Everyone upon the earth will perish, 26 Only the Supreme Essence of your Glorious and Gracious Lord will remain forever. 27 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 28 Whosoever is in the heavens and on earth begs of Him (its needs from Him). Every day He has a matter to bring forth (such as giving honour to some, disgrace to some, life to some, death to some, etc.)! 29 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 30 Jinn and mankind, We shall certainly settle your accounts. 31 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 32 O tribe of jinn and of men, if you are able to pass through the confines of heaven and earth, pass through them! You shall not pass through except with an authority. 33 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 34 Let loose at you will be smokeless flames of fire so that you will not be able to defend yourselves. 35 How many favours of your Lord will then both of you deny? 36 And when the heaven will split, it will appear like a rose painted red. 37 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 38 On that day neither man nor jinni will be questioned of his sin. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The culprits will be recognised by their marks, and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinns and men) deny? 42 Yonder is the Hell which the culprits belied. 43 They will keep circling around between Hell and boiling water. 44 Which of your Lord's powers will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 45
