The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 And when the stars fall down. 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the she-camels big with young shall be abandoned, 4 and when all beasts are gathered together, 5 When the oceans surge and swell, 6 And when the souls are paired 7 And when the girl-child that was buried alive is asked 8 for what sin she was slain, 9 when the scrolls are unrolled, 10 when heaven shall be stripped off; 11 hell is made to blaze, 12 And when the Garden is brought near;- 13 A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. 14 So, I call the receding stars to witness, 15 Those that run [their courses] and disappear - 16 And the close of night, 17 The rising dawn, 18 That this is indeed the word of an honoured Messenger, 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 who is obeyed there and is worthy of trust. 21 And your companion is not [at all] mad. 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 he is not grudging of the Unseen. 24 This is not the utterance of an accursed devil. 25 So where are you going? 26 This is merely a reminder to all mankind; 27 for everyone of you who wishes to follow the Straight Way; 28 And what will you wish, except if Allah wills the Lord of the Creation. 29
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
