AND THEY WILL ask thee about [what will happen to] the mountains [when this world comes to an end]. Say, then: "My Sustainer will scatter them far and wide, 105 and leave the earths level and bare, 106 wherein thou wilt see no crookedness neither any curving.' 107 On that Day will they follow the Caller (straight): no crookedness (can they show) him: all sounds shall humble themselves in the Presence of (Allah) Most Gracious: nothing shalt thou hear but the tramp of their feet (as they march). 108 On that Day intercession shall not avail save of him whom the Most Compassionate Lord permits, and whose word of intercession is pleasing to Him. 109 He knoweth that which is before them and that which is behind them, and they encompass it not with their knowledge. 110 ۞ And faces shall be humbled unto the Living, the Eternal. He will have failed whose burden is of evildoing; 111 And the one who does some good deeds, and is a Muslim – he shall have no fear of injustice, nor suffer any loss. 112 And this is how We revealed it as an Arabic Qur’an, and in different ways gave promises of punishment, that they may fear or it may create some pondering in their hearts. 113 So high exalted be God, the true King! And hasten not with the Koran ere its revelation is accomplished unto thee; and say, 'O my Lord, increase me in knowledge.' 114 We had already, beforehand, taken the covenant of Adam, but he forgot: and We found on his part no firm resolve. 115
