Al-Haaqqah 2 of 2

No! I swear by that you see 38 And what you do not see 39 That this is verily the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibrael (Gabriel) or Muhammad SAW which he has brought from Allah]. 40 It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe! 41 nor is it the work of a soothsayer but only a few of you take heed. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds. 43 And if the messenger were to invent any sayings in Our name, 44 We would have seized him by the right hand, 45 And then severed his life-artery, 46 And not one of you would have been able to stop (Us). 47 Surely it is a Good Counsel for the God-fearing. 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers. 50 it is the indubitable truth. 51 Therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), proclaim the purity of your Lord, the Greatest. 52

God the Almighty always says the truth.
